The vocational schools in Stade were founded by Wilhelm Heinrich Jobelmann, who had already suggested a "school for craftsmen" or "reality school" in 1829. From the beginning in January 1831 practically until his death Jobelmann thaught drawing and sporadically was the principal of the school. This school was the predecessor of a vocational school, which later became the Vocational College of today. |
