Check, if the bubble is brought to precise coincidence, use vertical screw.Beneath the horicontal Matelda read the next complete centimeter (345 cm) and in the cropped centimeter field you have to read (6 mm).After reading is taken (3,456 m), you always have to check if the dragonfly is still bring in coincidence.

 About the vertical screw (Tilting Level):

The telescope carrier and the telescope are not connected tightly. The telescope let itself in reality by slight tip over the vertical operatively fine-motion-screw, so called vertical screw,in the longitudinal direction. First you have to bring in the circular level with the leveling screws which are mount on the telescope carrier.With it stays the vertical revolution axis roughly plumb. For each reading on the level-rod you let the fixed bubble level/vial which is on the telescope with aid from the vertical screw bring in acute. This instrument is partienlarly qualified for taking precise single points, for example the fixed-point level.
