The "Continue Sketch"

A "continue sketch" is the visual presentation of the results of an "estate surveying" (in this case: orthogonal building surveying) and it is created during the measurement in the field work. The presentation need not be in a special scale, but it must be appropriate to the corresponding "sign prescription", so that everybody can understand the used signs at the analysis.

Additional to the visual presentation there is other data on a "continue sketch"  which is written at the header of the chart of the "continue sketch". There you find notes of the estate. (Community, part of community, township, estate). There is also written when the measuring was made and who performed it. Under it you can see the visual presentation of the situation.

For orientation there are shown proximate boundaries and buildings in addition to the ground view of the new building which has to be recorded. This building is drawn in red color and an arrow is added to it, because then you can recognize, also in unicoloured replications, which one the new building is.

The baseline with the appropriate benchmarks for location, where the measurement refers to, is drawn in approximately at the right location. After that the measures of the offsets, of the baseline and of the lenghts of the buildings are registered. The completed "continue sketch" is submitted to the responsable land registration office, so that the estate land registration can be continued.
