Polar method

Using the  polar method one determines distances and directions of points with known coordinates towards new points.  Apart from the angular measurement and distance measurement a  field book with the presentation of the new points with their numbers is made. For the polar method one needs at least two points with known coordinates in order to refer to an existing net and  check the measurements from of one of the other points.

Advantages:

-more accurate and faster procedure than  locating objects  by a baseline since no points on the baseline have to be  lined in or marked out.

- data flow from the recording of data to mapping
