Gross Errors

Gross errors appear through nonattation by reading the measure. So it can be that number turners (32-23) or meter error (1m, 20m, 50m) occur. You can  check measurements e.g. to measure struts or to make a second measurement. By measure a strut (9,45m) we can controll the measured building walls. For controlling we use the "theorem of Pythagoras" (a² + b² = c²).  In this case 7,98m stands for A and 5,07m for B.  If the calculated C and the measured C do not correspond,  a number turner could  also be responsible for it!
