Systematic Errors

Systematic errors affect the measurements always in the same direction.

Measurement errors develope through various factors:

-sag or expansion of the tape measure, measuring with unchecked tape measure;

-to avoid the line or the horizontal;

-not consideration of the temperature.

By checking the tape measure you can get rid of the former error. By choosing a suitable measuring procedure you can find out differences in elevation.
